Church Planting
The Cleaford Christian Trust has been able to fund, or support, a Church planting project each year, on average.

Church plants we have been involved with in the past include: Magherani, Cinta, Idrifaia, Gornesti, Sangeorgiu de Padure, Viforas, Fantanele, Balauseri, Apalina and Rava

There are always villages on the list waiting for help - this is a part of the world where the church is growing as fast as the leadership can manage.
Pastors’ Salaries
Although the standard salary paid to a pastor is very modest, the mathematics are such that a church needs about 100 members before it will be able to support its pastor financially.
At the present time we support Pastors Janos Totos and Jacob Salai.
Janos is the Pastor of Sangeorgiu de Padure and is also senior pastor to the churches in Viforasa, Balauseri and Rava
Jacob is Pastor of the church in Magherani. He and his wife are currently involved in very successful local evangelism and Sunday School work.
We also support Marta Borzasi. Marta runs, and oversees, several Sunday Schools both is Pericei and Targu Mures; she is also responsible for taking some 600 children to Christian camp each year.
The Cleaford Christian Trust would love to be able to support more pastors like Jacob and Janos so if Churches, groups or individuals who would like to consider help with a pastor’s salary we would ask that you contact us, as this is a growing need.
